How long after my treatment can I get my hair wet?

Keep your hair dry for the first 48 hours. Avoid swimming or any strenuous exercise (Skip the gym, no workin' up a sweat!)

Can I tie my hair up?

Don't use rubber elastic bands or clips that can possibly bend the hair during the 48 hours following the Hstraighten in salon treatment. This can leave indentation marks in the hair.

What products can I use on my hair afterwards?

For normal hair types, we recommend to use the Oway Smoothing Hair Bath and Smoothing Hair conditioner.

For colour treated hair types, we recommend to use the Oway Rebuilding Hair Bath and the Rebuilding Hair Mask.

You aren’t required to use OWAY homecare but we do recommend it for longevity.

What results can be expected after the Hstraighten Treatment?

The hair will be more manageable and easier to style smooth and is also more noticeably softer and silkier from the added hydration. The hair will also be shinier and more vibrant.

How long does the overall service take to perform?

Approximately 3-4 hours depending on whether you're defrizzing or smoothing and the thickness of the hair.

How long will the treatment last?

The result will last from 3-5 months depending on how often you wash your hair and the products you use.

How does it affect hair colour?

Can significantly lighten the colour base so it is suggested to perform the Hstraighten service at least one week prior to applying hair colour.
