Deposits

25% of your total service cost will be required as a deposit in order to secure your booking.

This is a non-refundable deposit and is required for all clients to secure your booking which can be paid when you book online.

Alternatively this can be done manually for all phone bookings.

On the day of your appointment, your deposit will be deducted off your final bill.

Should you need to re-schedule your booking this amount will be kept on your file for your future appointment.

Cancellation policy

We will always confirm your service with a reminder text, one week prior to your booking. An email will also be sent 48 hours prior to your upcoming appointment. To secure your appointment, we kindly ask that you respond with a 'Y' as soon as you receive our reminder, or all appointment changes can be made online via the website. If we do not receive your confirmation within 24 hours of your appointment time, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and enforce our policy. We understand and appreciate that life can sometimes interrupt your future plans (especially when you book your appointments well in advance). If you need to cancel your appointment within 48 hours, a fee equal to 50% of the service will be charged, For anything less than 24 hours, a fee equal to 100% of the service cost will be charged to the card on file or taken over the phone. If you do not arrive for your appointment after your confirmation, we will require you to pay a no-show fee equivalent to 100% of the service cost before securing any future bookings. This policy allows us to better manage our schedule, ensuring each client receives our 1:1 personalised standard of high-quality service that you all deserve.

Late Policy

We value both your time and ours. Lateness can disrupt our tightly run schedule and affect the experience of our other clients. If you realise that you might be running more than 15 minutes late, we kindly ask that you call the salon as soon as possible to let us know. We will endeavour to be as accommodating as our schedule permits, but please be aware that in some instances, we may need to move your appointment to a different day or team member within the same week. For such changes, no further charge will be applied.In our new arrangement with our booking system, Phorest, we don't take a deposit at the time of booking. Instead, we securely hold your card information. Should we be unable to reschedule your appointment to another time or team member, we will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost to the card on file.This approach helps us manage our appointments more efficiently, ensuring that each client receives the quality service they deserve while respecting everyone's time.

Refunds, returns & satisfaction

We do not offer refunds on hair services however we will do everything possible to meet your expectations and ensure that you love your hair. If there are ever any concerns with your hair after you leave the salon, please get back in touch with us within 24hrs and we will arrange a time for you to come back in for a complementary revision appointment as soon as is convenient. These services are not charged unless it is more or new work than what was discussed and agreed upon prior to your original appointment commencing. Please note: Any concerns outside our 10-day period will be considered a new colour appointment and will be charged accordingly.  We will happily accept returns on faulty any products that have been purchased . The product must be accompanied with proof of its purchase.

Thank you for respecting the culture of kindness, care and mutual respect that we value and live by at TKAY. We have zero tolerance for any kind of bullying, disrespect or abuse towards our team or our clients. On the very unlikely chance we see anyone exhibiting this kind of behaviour, we will politely step in, cease services and ask that the offender leaves without returning.

Social Media

In a continued effort to enhance our services and client experiences, TKAY may capture photographs of our clients, the salon environment, and the daily operations for promotional purposes on our social media platforms. By choosing to engage with our services, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of appearing in such photographs.We recognize the significance of our clients' comfort and privacy. If you happen to identify your image on our social media platforms and prefer it to be removed, we encourage you to inform us promptly. Our dedicated team will ensure your request is handled swiftly and with the utmost respect.Please be assured that our primary aim in sharing these images is to showcase the exceptional work of our stylists and the inviting ambiance of our salon. We will never intentionally compromise the comfort or privacy of our clients. This clause is an integral part of maintaining the culture of transparency, respect, and mutual understanding we cultivate.

Furr children

Co-founder Kyra’s little dog Taco will greet you with a creepy stare or be hiding away sleeping, depending on her mood.

Your fluffy children are always welcome to hang out with both her and the team. A secure back courtyard is also there to accomodate them while you get pampered.

We accept Mastercard, Visa and Amex. All cards will incur a small surcharge fee.
