Kyra opened TKAY Studio in 2018. She built her dream space, with an environment that is not only kind to your hair, but your nervous system too.

She’s presented on stage at multiple hair expo’s & events

She has taken home multiple colourist awards both in Australia and NZ, a highlight being the prestigious AHFA’S Hair Colourist of the Year.

Kyra has educated for some of the industries leading brands and high end salons.

She now prides herself on sharing her knowledge with her beautiful team and constantly evolving your salon experience.

Maddy

Senior Colourist

The energy we never knew we were missing at TKAY.

Maddy has over 9 years experience and specialises in short hair, bobs, low-maintenance colour or, if you are feeling like a temporary creative colour change up, Maddy is for you.

Maddy prides herself on creating friendships with her clients and talking about anything from camping to the love of hot chippies.

An integral part of out team, always with the cutest fits and not only making sure her clients are well looked after but everyone around her.

She will have you in and out of the salon with lots of laughs along the way.

Monique

Senior Colourist

A pure ray of sunshine in human form.

Mon brings 9 years experience, specialising in all things healthy hair and low maintenance colour. Her signature soft blow-outs that last you a week will have you glowing from the inside out.

Mon’s service from start to finish is second to none. Her thorough and detailed consult will have you on the exact hair journey you’ve always dreamt of. Her home-care knowledge is second to none. Mon is a true perfectionist and loves creating lifelong connections with all those that sit in her chair.

After one visit with Mon she will leave you feeling like you’re floating on a cloud.

Lyniah glows huge nurturing energy and is our most humbled team member at TKAY for over 4 years, she specialises in "Brunette 90's vibes" hair.

If you have struggled to find someone to tame your mane previously, Lyniah is for you.

With fashion week, many styling events under her belt, Lynniah’s continuous dedication to evolving her knowledge is second to none. Her colour, styling & cutting styling is meticulous & absolute perfection.

She loves building connections with her clients and will leave you feeling like you were the only one in our space.

Romany

Emerging Colourist & Stylist

Rom, with the brightest smile.

Rom specialises in blow-dry’s and our signature taming treatment “H-straighten”

Rom is always up for a chat and when she’s not shadowing our Senior Colourists and producing a big bouncy blow wave, she’s making killer coffee and bringing all the vibes.

Rom is a glowing and high potential addition to our TKAY team and we can’t wait to see her soar.
